Ingredients
- 12 whole chicken wings (about 1kg)
- 250g baking powder
- 15g cornflour
- 10g garlic granules
- 5g smoked paprika
- 2.5g cayenne pepper
- 15ml vegetable oil
- 60g butter
- 15ml hot sauce
- 7.5g honey
- 120g mayonnaise
- 120g soured cream or yogurt
- 2.5g garlic granules
- 7.5g lemon juice
Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 200C.
- Pat the chicken wings dry using kitchen paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together baking powder, cornflour, garlic granules, smoked paprika and cayenne pepper. Add salt (approx. 2.5g).
- Toss the wings in vegetable oil, then add the dry mix and turn to coat evenly.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket (may need to cook in batches).
- Heat for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until crispy, golden and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, melt butter with hot sauce and honey in a small pan or microwave, stirring to combine.
- For the ranch dressing, mix all ingredients together in a bowl and season to taste.
- Once the wings are done, toss in buffalo sauce and serve immediately with ranch dip on the side.
